Jupiter and the moon Io

A Christmas Eve clear sky and i couldn’t resist another attempt at the planet Jupiter and this time, the transit of Jupiter’s moon Io is clearly visible along with its shadow hitting the upper atmosphere of the giant planet. I certainly wasn’t expecting that!
